The Off-Grid Expo & Conference is the only neutral congress trade event in Europe focused on the off-grid solar, wind and hydropower systems sector. The two-day hybrid event will gather experts from industry, academia and the public sector to discuss topics such as the impact of COVID19 on the off-grid sector, productive use and sector coupling, energy storage for rural electrification and small wind for demanding locations.

GET.transform will contribute to the conference with expert insights from its recent analysis “Productive Use 2.0 – New Scaling Opportunities and Innovations in the Sector”, which discusses the changing PUE landscape, and the roles the public and private sector can play in developing scalable approaches.

Temitope Udo-Affia, Technical Assistance Coordinator for Off-Grid Regulation & Market Development at GET.transform, will speak at the session “Powering innovative cooling applications with off-grid technologies” (2 Dec, 09:35 – 10:50 GMT+1). The session will highlight how new PUE approaches and innovations can support the growing need for cooling systems in the most underserved and marginalised communities on the planet.

The other expert speakers are:

  • Yusuf Bilesanmi, CEO, Eja-Ice Limited
  • Sonja Mettenleiter, COO, Solar Cooling Engineering GmbH
  • Joseph Shreshta, Reverse Vending Machine Nepal Pvt Ltd
  • Géraldine Quelle, Project Lead, Phaesun GmbH (Moderator)
