The Ibero-American Association of Energy Regulators (ARIAE) is holding its XXIV Annual Meeting of Energy Regulators in the Dominican Republic from 6 to 8 February 2024. Comprising of 25 energy regulatory authorities from 20 countries, ARIAE is a forum for knowledge exchange and capacity building among peers to promote regulatory harmonisation, joint research and cross-border cooperation. The Annual Meeting includes a Business Forum, in which practitioners provide updates on the latest technological developments that are key for the energy transition. On 6 February, Diego Messina, of the GIZ International Power-to-X Hub project, will share green hydrogen insights in the panel “The Role of Other Clean Energies in the Decarbonisation of the Energy System” (4.00-5.30pm AST).
On 7 February, Daniel Cumpa Exebio, GET.transform Country Coordinator for Peru, will be part of the expert panel discussing “Regulation of Electricity Markets for the Integration of Non-Conventional Renewable Energies” (09.30-11.00am AST).
